For the wet days there are plenty of board games, cards, Smart TV with access to Netflix, Wii or DVDs for those lazy days on the couch. For the Adults it is quiet enough to read a book, a magazine or drink a couple of glasses of wine (or 2) while solving the problems of the world.

JenPerfect winter escape
Blue Fin was a beautiful & relaxing place to stay. It was comfortable & well maintained, also had all the comforts of home including a coffee machine for those cold winter mornings! Was pleasantly surprised how relaxed & unspoiled Port MacDonnell is. Glad we took a punt and stayed there, it was the perfect base for exploring all along the SE coast. Thanks Blue Fin for a memorable stay

NikkiWonderful beach escape
This was our second stay at Bluefin and this one was as good as our first stay over two years ago. The property is well maintained, equiped and later out. Set back from the beach, it is protected by the direct sea winds but still only a two minute walk to the ocean. We will be back!

Lesley & MartinHome away from home.
Blue Fin is an excellent holiday property, one of the best equiped places we have stayed and very comfortable. Truly is a home away from home. Very generous extras of wine, chocolates and breakfast provisions were much appreciated. A real plus for us also is that we could bring our dog and she was allowed inside. Port McDonnell is a lovely area, with wonderful walks and beautiful beaches and only a 30 minute drive to Mount Gambier with all the facilities of a large town and more. If your looking for a realaxing holiday, Blue Fin is the place to stay.- Apr, 2017

CarolineFantastic for dogs
We had a great time at Blue Fin. We had everything we needed, it was comfortable and relaxing. The garden is very dog friendly and it was easy to find good places to take my dog for a run.- Apr, 2016

RebeccaAwesome property!
We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Fin. The accommodation was immaculate and the attention to detail was superb. The little unexpected touches really helped to make our weekend away relaxed and stress free. From our original enquiry to making the booking, nothing was a hassle and we will definitely stay at Blue Fin again.

SteveClean, comfortable and great attention to detail
Our family stayed four nights at Blue Fin in September 2015. We stay in a lot of holiday rentals and while most are clean and comfortable, they are often bland and devoid of character. There is none of that here. Blue Fin is very clean and has good facilities, as you’d expect from a new property – but the owners include many small but thoughtful additions to enhance your stay. The house has good character and comfort; it is tastefully furnished in a maritime theme, with lots of appropriate decor and knick knacks. Bedding and furniture is comfortable and the heating and cooling works a treat. There are three TVs, a Wii and board games for the kids, a kitchen well stocked with appliances and utensils, tea and coffee, wine and chocolates on arrival, even a coffee machine. It’s these small touches and attention to detail that sets Blue Fin apart from most other holiday homes. If you’re headed to Port Macdonnell I highly recommend it, particularly for families. – Sep, 2015

PeterImmaculate property, 5 stars every day!

I regularly travel to fishing destinations along our coast and have sampled many different and wonderful accommodations, some great and some not so great. This property is right up there as one of, if not the most comfortable and well appointed I have had the pleasure of staying in. It’s large, modern and spotless. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was magnificent! The outdoor area, both front and back was more than adequate for bbq’s and plenty of space for kids to run around in. Off street boat and car parking for me is very important for security reasons and I couldn’t have been happier. I could wash my boat down in the large accommodating driveway and take my time, I didn’t have to worry about a line of boats waiting behind me.
The complimentary champagne, breakfast and chocolates were just the icing on the cake of our very comfortable stay. It’s a shame it was only for two nights, I could easily stay for weeks!
I can highly recommend this first class property for anyone wanting to spend some time in the area. You’ll walk away relaxed, refreshed and very satisfied with your stay
I’ll definitely be back!
Thanks Kim! – Sep, 2015
